Junior Web Designer / Front End Developer

We are a London based retail concept consisting of an online platform and 5,000sq ft store space in East London.

LN-CC combines the tangible roots of traditional retail with a progressive approach to the online market. We believe in achieving everything on our own terms, continually striving to push things forward. This project is more than a store, it's an evolving platform of curated ideas encompassing clothing, music and art in both a physical and digital environment.

We're on the hunt for a talented Junior Front-End Developer / Web Designer.

We're a small team but growing rapidly. Our offices are based in East London. We have a fantastic work environment, with tea and coffee on tap, table tennis in the back yard and regular evenings in the pub.

The ideal candidate will come from an e-commerce background with a genuine interest in fashion and design.

About You

  • You should be confident in your abilities.
  • Not afraid to have an opinion on web technology, web standards and the latest techniques.
  • Be able to write HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
  • You should know Adobe CS applications like PhotoShop and Illustrator
  • Have a working knowledge of web frameworks like jQuery, LESS and SASS.
  • Know what responsive web design is.
  • You should understand user interface, user experience, web accessibility and search.

Desirable

You get extra points if you know any of the following:

  • Magento
  • PHP/MySQL
  • Ruby and Ruby on Rails
  • A working knowledge of version control systems like Git or SVN.
  • HTML newsletter design and production. (Coding like it's 1999)
  • Table tennis to a professional level.
