For a year Juergen Teller was given creative free rein over a column in the German newspaper Die Zeit. This well respected newspaper allowed Teller to publish a new image each week with an accompanying text. This combination of text and image only enhanced the autobiographical element to his work and as to be expected his text employed the same raw approach typical of his photographs. This has all been collected in the first book- pictures, whilst the second book- text contains three of the best letters sent to Die Zeit communicating their lack of enthusiasm at such poor photographs being published.
