J.W. Anderson Women's Wool Collage Coat

J.W. Anderson women’s Wool Collage Coat from A/W 11 collection in dogtooth.

This coat is made from wool and features a long silhouette. The coat has a removable hood that attaches to the collar with five horn buttons. The hood features a blue, paisley pattern made from silk and a long, white fur-like trim. The same fur-like material is used across the back of the coat, and there is a pleated, navy skirt panel made from wool at the waist down. The skirt panel can be removed using a silver metal zip that runs along the top of it. Underneath the skirt is a section made from a contrast white fabric.

The main body of the coat features a brown dogtooth pattern, and the coat fastens with five large horn buttons. There are two large front pockets with flap enclosures and white panel detailing across the top.

The sleeves of the coat are made from the same contrast white material as underneath the skirting on the back, with quilted topstitching.

Young British designer Jonathan William Anderson founded J.W. Anderson in 2007, and is also the creative director of heritage jersey brand, Sunspel. After studying menswear design in London, Anderson began showing off-schedule at London Fashion Week, and launched his womenswear line in 2010.
