Blackmeans AW11 Video
Japanese label Blackmeans was formed in 2008, heavily influenced by the various punk movements of the twentieth century: from early 70s UK punk, to the crust-punk scene of Japan in the early 90s. Utilising the experience of Japan's finest leather craftsmen, the brand takes historic, ethnic cloth-cutting techniques, and reinterprets them in an innovative way that puts them at the forefront of the ‘New Tokyo’ movement.
