The publication is created by South African photographer Kristin-Lee Moolman and stylist Gabrielle Kannemeyer. The duo have a distinctive way of portraying youth subculture in a raw and electric way. Their collaborative work shows a joyous portrayal of a city and its’ individuals that are often mirrored in a troubled way. ’Delicious’ is an authentic portrayal of today’s young South Africans, building their own new world away from the haunting turmoil. The design of the publication is on theme with the city of Johannesburg and its extreme contrasts. Paper qualities shift from extreme gloss to extreme matte with details in gold in reference to Johannesburg history as a gold mining city.
