For SS17 we welcome a number of new brands to our offering alongside our conscious collection. Explore our menswear report focusing on the brands joining LN-CC's buy this season. Conscious collection newcomers include Snow Peak and Bedouin both harbouring time-old construction techniques and a functional aesthetic. Camiel Fortgens is challenging classic garment foundations to create contemporary unisex pieces that resonate with their wearer, Milan-based Sunnei showcases a selection of modern, luxury sports-inspired wears whilst Stella McCartney debuts her first menswear collection offering a refreshing appeal and ethical sensibility.



Canvas Unisex Collection 003


Crafted in the Netherlands, Camiel Fortgens is a brand reflecting and rethinking the concept of fashion. Questioning and challenging garment construction in the current “cut copy paste” climate, the label takes menswear silhouettes and reconstructs them in simple shapes. Confronting the fast-paced mass-market industry, Camiel Fortgens crafts unique and timeless everyday wears that honour time-old techniques and subvert them to create contemporary pieces that centres on form and fabric.

The UNISEX COLLECTION 003 focuses on flat, 2D shapes that have a sense of detachment from the human body but remain instantly recognisable and wearable. Consisting of copies of archetypal garments, the selection includes boxy shirts, worker pants, hooded sweaters, oversized dresses and track jackets crafted from tactile cottons in natural ecru and off-white shades.


BEDOUIN United Kingdom

Naturally Tanned Durable Luggage


Founded by Silas Grant with the aim of creating traditional crafted, geometric-inspired durable bags, Bedouin offers consciously produced leather luggage. With the mantra ‘buy quality, buy it once’ and rejecting the current disposable product climate, Grant ensures his bags are sustainably produced, high-quality and last a lifetime. Unparalleled workmanship, marked design and a functional approach come together to forge Bedouin natural, vegetable-tanned leather bags with innovate industrial hardware details.

The LN-CC selection of carryalls, totes and backpacks are crafted from British-supplied durable leather, feature Swiss zippers and the world’s strongest, Austrian-made AustriAlpin Cobra buckles. Their rugged and hard-wearing exteriors are juxtaposed by geometric-printed linings and padded compartments and contemporary strapping.



Luxury Youthful Sportswear


Italian, Milan-based designers Simone Rizzo and Loris Messina are heavily influenced by contemporaneity in the sense that conception is about creating synergy between people and situation – situation being clothing. Taking an innovative approach to design, the pair’s manipulation of high-quality fabric and provoking construction has resulted in an effortlessly modern aesthetic whilst their traditional methods and classic silhouettes secure them as a timeless menswear brand.

The SS17 collection harnesses an irreverent youthfulness with tactile tailored pieces, graphic t-shirts, sports-inspired accessories, roomy knitted vests and boxy denims. Oversized cuts and luxury materials lend comfort and an understated sense of modernity to the Italian ideal of ‘Sprezzatura.’


Stella McCartney United Kingdom

Stella McCartney’s debut menswear collection focuses on the same principals as her womenswear line; timeless, sustainable and contemporary. Ethics remain at the heart of the brand - conscious production methods and cruelty-free practices – alongside an effortlessly wearable philosophy. The emphasis is on classic cuts, modern fabrications and relaxed silhouettes whilst intricate details and bold prints add a sense of playfulness.

The SS17 collection plays on youthfulness with a selection of slogan t-shirts, colour-blocked sneakers and graphic intarsia knits. Inspired by the men in her life, the collection draws on musical references and an artist spirit; fluid silhouettes, printed shirts, bleached denims and easy layers. Inherently cool the offering centres around responsible production, artistic subcultures and modern everyday wears.

The brand continues Yamai’s commitment to the relationship between man and nature; fabricating eco-friendly and functional pieces from innovative fabrics using traditional methods. Modernising practical silhouettes with material advancements and functional details, Snow Peak create superior garments with an elevated technical aesthetic.

Our selection for the upcoming season maintains its considered approach to fabrication with a range of durable rain coats, anorak pants, mountain parkas, lightweight shell jackets, insulated vests, fleeced hoodies and camp shorts in natural colourways alongside packable hats, technical backpacks and wooden Getas.
