As office workers around the world pondered what would constitute appropriate post-lockdown work attire, counter-cultural revolutionists at Slam Jam were busy rifling through Fila’s archive as part of their on-going (Un)corporate Uniforms project. After conducting countless forward-thinking apparel experiments focussed on redefining some of the Biela-born sportswear giant’s most iconic garments, the resulting six-piece unisex Redefined capsule collection is a study of functionality and multi-sports applications. In this (Un) Corporate Uniform, even the most soulless of workplaces can be transformed into places of possibility.

After launching its first-ever standalone product project (Un)corporate Uniforms during the first winter of the global pandemic, Slam Jam has introduced a series of considered capsules intent on understanding and helping to redefine the concept of uniform for today, tomorrow and beyond. Each of the (Un)corporate Uniforms are intended to be worn by members of the same group, in order to unite and stand out among others. Combining with Fila for its first collaboration, this Redefined capsule is well worth the wait. Let’s unite and takeover.

The 6 unisex items are marked out by co-branded patches, the iconic perforated Slam Jam logo and colorways in shades of grey, white & red. Highlights include a frost grey windbreaker and track jacket crafted in super light nylon – both of which can be paired with a pinstriped running top, training shorts and running hat combo to create the ultimate track and field ensemble. Away from the track, a set of polo shirts sit perfectly with track pants in lunar rock and dark grey, while a padded nylon gym bag or light corded sacoche completes the look for the utilitarian who opts to stand out in the changing room and/or the open plan office. As the capsule drops at LN-CC, Swiss-born, London-based photographer Marlen Keller shoots the standout pieces on an imagined group of co-workers during a day of (un)corporate work.
