Thomas A. Sunspel founded his namesake label in 1860, immediately revolutionising the concept of minimalistic, staple focused dressing. A dedicated team of craftsmen have been creating precise, fine clothing in their factory in Long Eaton, their home since 1937. Notable for their focus on British craftsmanship and the pursuit of sustaining traditional techniques, former Creative Director Jonathan Anderson asserted a contemporary take on these time-honoured practices that still resonates today. Redefining the concept of luxury has seen them develop exciting textile approaches including the ever popular Q14 cellulock fabric, or more recently, the Loopback Sweat introduced in 2011. Continually refining and perfecting their fabrics, Sunspel concentrates on fine details, design and fit in a luxurious and stylish finish.
