- Vitesse is a project by two friends from Brussels. Guillaume Kohn and Pieter Polspoel – DJs, producers and two of the minds behind Belgium’s Boutique Electronique parties – have been making music together for a couple of years now but this three-track EP marks their first official release. In equal parts seductive and sleazy, our pick of the bunch is title track ‘In De Lucht’. Commanding vocals quickly usher in synth-pop melodies that shimmer and glisten overhead. The synths lend the production a tropical air, while the rhythmic bass of the DX7 provides a groove you can ride on all the way to the finish line.
