Moncler was founded in 1952 by René Ramillon and André Vincent in the French Alpine village of Monestier-de-Clermont, the brand's name was inspired by the mountain village near Grenoble. The label is designed for extreme protection and celebrates over half a century of expertise in producing innovative and technical apparel and lifestyle products. Today a worldwide luxury brand worn in cities and mountains alike, Moncler continues to develop robust and functional down coats and jackets, knitwear, shoes and accessories with an urban edge. This season sees the label focusing on creating innovative and contemporary pieces for the functional wardrobe, featuring colour-block down and feather-filled padded coats and scarves, as well as technical knit sweaters and accessories with embroidered logo patch accents.
