Glen Martens is the latest designer to reimagine Jean Paul Gaultier’s iconic back catalogue. Having worked as a junior designer in the famed French house before starting his own label in 2013, Martens returns a decade on to offer a new generation the opportunity to wear the legendary trompe l'oeil print. Rebooted in chromatic schemes, technicolour gradients and optical illusion diaphanous layers, the provocative graphic imbues the collection of angular jackets, fitted tanks and dramatic slip dress with the satirical spirit and unconventional presentations of gender that characterise both Y/Project and Jean Paul Gaultier.
