Los Angeles designed and made, Come Tees is recognisable for its graphic DIY style that features screen-printed and painted imagery, spliced with song lyrics and slogans pulled from underground culture. Operated by artist Sonya Sombreuil, the label launched in 2009 as community-based line of band T-shirts and restored vintage garments. Current collections are limited edition runs and every T-shirt is screen-printed by Sombreuil‘s own hand. Influenced by punk rock, hip hop and the tension of individuality in a world of mass branding, Come Tees transforms the most ubiquitous item in our wardrobes into a statement of autonomy.
