Founded in 1935 by Kichizo Yoshida, Porter by Yoshida is a Japanese brand that creates utilitarian bags, each of which is handmade using high quality fabrics and components. Informing his notions of what a bag should be, ‘A bag should, first and foremost, be a tool for carrying goods’ – this was his motto when he opened his first Tokyo atelier in 1935.
