Founded in 2017 by Daniël Sumarna and Bilal Fellah, the brand takes its name and inspiration from the history and duality of the coastal Moroccan city. Colours, shapes and style names are all chosen to reflect Tangier’s geography and multiculturalism. Handcrafted in Italy from sustainably-minded cellulose, derived from cotton and alcohol with minimal use of chemicals, each pair carries a three-point arrow-shape on both sides. The left, a reminder to appreciate the past through nostalgia, tradition and craftsmanship. The right, a prompt to embrace the present through hope, design and culture.
