Botter Rushemy Botter was born in Curaçao and has lived for the most part in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. He started His fashion studies in Arnhem at a more technical school, from there he went to the Royal Academy of The Hague. As soon as he got his propedeuse degree, he applied to the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, was accepted and then went onto be mentored by Walter van Beirendonck. Botter is a menswear label found by Rushemy Botter and Lisi Herrebrugh. They design elegant garments, finding themselves always looking back at their Caribbean roots. Between Caribbean virility and femininity lays a fragile layer, men are idle, they say. The use of rare details makes the designs have a poetic feel. The collections represent a look into a personal diary, and they aim to express their opinion on the world through their work. Shop Men's Latest Arrivals
